№ 08 Competitors · The longer read

Six tools.
Including ours.

The compare page takes the three tools we’re most often weighed against head-on. This page is the longer read — all six job-application tools you’ll meet while shopping, with the honest read on each plus two names worth knowing not to use.

Deployment
Chrome / Firefox extension
Auto-submit
No — autofills, you click submit
CAPTCHA
N/A — extension lives inside the browser
Privacy
Server-side autofill, browser-resident profile

Broadest ATS coverage of any tool. Free tier is genuinely useful. Trade-off: you still click every submit button.

Deployment
Chrome extension
Auto-submit
Yes — Easy Apply only
CAPTCHA

Strong on ATS autofill (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever). Auto-submit is gated behind a beta. Job database has reports of expired or fake postings — spot-check listings.

II. Feature matrix · thirteen rows, six columns

The same thirteen questions, asked of all six. Where we wrote “Unknown,” we couldn’t verify the answer from public docs and we won’t guess. If a vendor publishes their own answer we’ll update this table.

III. When to pick someone else · three honest cases

A comparison page with no honest losses is a marketing page. These are the three cases a competitor is the right answer for your search — written so you don’t pay us for the wrong tool and refund it next week.

Pick Simplify if…

…you mostly apply through Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, or a custom company page, and you’re fine clicking submit yourself.

Their free tier is the most generous autofill on the market, and we don’t support those ATS yet. We will.

Pick Wobo if…

…~40 applications a week is exactly your pace and you want the most-loved tool in the category.

Their 4.5/5 Trustpilot is genuinely earned. If volume isn’t your bottleneck, paying them more than us is fine.

Pick a Workday specialist if…

…Workday is most of your application surface.

We don’t auto-apply to Workday yet (multi-month problem — per-company accounts, email verifications, custom forms). If you’re applying mostly to Fortune 500s, look elsewhere for now.

IV. Quiet cautions · two names we left off the table

Comparison posts elsewhere on the internet still list these two. One is closed; the other has the kind of charge-but-no-applications report you’d want to know about before paying. We’re not naming them to insult them — just so you know to look closely.

Closed · Jan 2025

Sonara AI.

Closed in January 2025. If a comparison post still lists them, it’s out of date. Worth checking the date on any “top auto-apply tools 2026” piece you’re reading.

Low trust signals

ApplyHero.

Multiple public reports of charged accounts that submitted zero applications, very low Scam Detector trust score. We aren’t naming this to insult them — just so you know to look closely before paying. Read recent reviews on more than one site.

End of competitors

We’ll be here.

If TimeBaQ’s the right answer, founder pricing is still open. If it isn’t, the page above tells you which is.
